The automotive industry is best known for its early implementation of future technologies, but as their products get more and more complicated, the user manual remains unchanged. This leads to consumers being frustrated about the usability of their product once they encounter problems with it.
In my master thesis i made in cooperation with the Research & Development-department of Daimler AG i have designed a future-proof new-media concept to react to this case. With the possibilities of AR, IoT, Cognitive Computing and their interconnection the user manual is taken to the next level. This opens up new fields of interaction with the consumer, which i tried to solve in the tradition of UX-Design.
